Aylwin Barbecue saw the light of day in an Hochelaga alleyway during the summer of 2016 with an old propane tank, a welding machine (minus the welder), a few bits of steel and two Montreal chefs, making for an unlikely pop-up built around an improvised smokehouse.

Aylwin Barbecue is setting up shop at Atwater Market and bringing everything that made their summertime parties a must with them. Drawing from their considerable experience in the restaurant business, Antoine Bériault and Annie Lacombe invite you to enjoy authentic, Texan-style barbecue right here in Montreal, smoked everyday on site, without taking any shortcuts. The result? An honest and simple feast that is more than fulfilling..
